Come one, come all: The 4th annual Christmas Crèche Festival!

October 26, 2019

The annual living nativity scene tabloid, complete with costumed participants and live animals at the 2018 Christmas Crèche Festival.

What better way to get in touch with the true meaning of the season than viewing Nativities from all over the world, listening to music of the season performed and enjoying the peace of the Live Nativity.

This is a free community event which will be held Dec. 14 and 15 from 3 to 8 p.m. on both days. In addition to the Live Nativity, there will be upwards of 100 or more Nativities on display in conjunction with performances of music of the season. A children's activities room is also available (children must be accompanied by an adult).

Everyone is invited to display their Nativities for all to enjoy. The inspiring music of the season is provided by local school and church choirs, soloists, individual musicians and groups. Last year Aaron Perlman from our local Fox affiliate performed and we are hoping that he returns this year. There are 30-minute slots available for all performers.

The Christmas Crèche Festival will again be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 600 Anita Dr., in Tehachapi.

Please contact Janet Vickers at (661) 916-5778 if you are interested in participating by displaying your Nativity(ies), being part of the Live Nativity, performing musically or helping out.
