On Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound’s Feline Conservation Center will be hosting its “Kids Day” special event. This is a day centered on fun and educating kids about saving endangered wild feline species, and ways they can make their own contribution to conservation efforts. Activities will include educational live animal presentations, games, an informational scavenger hunt and “enrichment making,” where kids make toys for our cats.

Admission for this event is $10 per person ($5 for EFBC members). Price includes most activities (and prizes to take home). There is an additional charge for hay rides and face painting. Parking is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult – NO child drop-offs will be permitted.

EFBC’s Feline Conservation Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of endangered wild feline species. EFBC houses more than 60 rare cats representing 18 wild feline species. Guests can visit EFBC during its regular business hours, daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Wednesdays) and view large wildcats such as Jaguars and Leopards, as well as smaller and lesser known species like fishing cats, sand cats and many more.
