First Sipping with the Supe almost derailed

The very first Sipping with the Supe on Sept. 18 ran into a small hitch. Kohnen's Bakery's oven had gone down the day before so when Superintendent Stacey Larson-Everson arrived the bakery was closed. Joining her were two other School Board Trustees, Joe Wallek and Rick Scott. Undaunted, Larson-Everson drove to Dunkin' Donuts and brought back coffee and donuts offering them to those who came to chat as well as those who came to Kohnen's door only to find it was locked. The next Sipping with the Supe will be held at Kohnen's on Oct. 16 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Anyone with questions regarding the school district or just wanting to get to know our new Superintendent can drop by during those hours.
