6th annual Tehachapi GranFondo had over 1,000 riders participating.
At 7 a.m. on Sept. 14, 1,006 cyclists took off on Green Street headed on one of five courses that head throughout the greater Tehachapi area.

King and Queen of the mountain. Ethan Zehr, 20, of Tehachapi completed the Keene climb in 22.05 minutes and Jessica Wheeler, 48, of Bakersfield completed the climb in 33:27 minutes. This was Wheeler's first Tehachapi GranFondo. Shown are Zehr, SunSelect President Chad Ianneo and Wheeler. The $500 award was sponsored by SunSelect growers.
