The Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance (GAVEA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Patricia "PJ" DelGaudio as its new Interim Executive Director. DelGaudio has the experience to lead GAVEA during this time of transition, as she had previously been the executive assistant for GAVEA from 2015 to 2018.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to work with our community leaders again," DelGaudio said. "The Antelope Valley is my home, and I intend to continue the great work GAVEA already does to promote business retention, expansion and attraction."

DelGaudio replaces former Executive Director Kimberly Maevers, who resigned in June to pursue other career opportunities. Both DelGaudio and Maevers dedicated many years to growing GAVEA and helping it prosper as an economic partner in the Greater Antelope Valley.

"We are extremely grateful to PJ for taking on the Interim role," GAVEA Chairwoman Veronica Knudson said. "PJ's knowledge of the organization and her passion for the community make her uniquely qualified to lead the organization."

DelGaudio has over nine years of experience in leadership, development and management with non-profit, academic and community-based organizations in the Antelope Valley. She began serving as Interim Executive Director on Aug. 12, 2019.

GAVEA is the public/private partnership that facilitates business growth and opportunity within the Antelope Valley's 3,000-square-mile region. GAVEA serves as an ally for enterprise, helping chart the best course towards finding success and new prosperity.
