The Loop would like to thank all who contributed so far to our first Loop serial and for all those who have read along with us. It is time to think about endings. We are open to printing several of the best submissions and previous authors are invited to submit again, as well as new contributors.

We would like you to keep in mind how the story has woven around the first prompt and how most characters were moved forward with added details and information.

Please somehow incorporate poor Julia standing at her window seeing the red light flying past, stopping mid sky and then suddenly disappearing. We don’t want anyone left out.

There are a myriad of explanations possible, from logical to fantastic, weird to mysterious, and numerous reasons behind the lights and happenings in the Valley of Light.

Give us your best shot of what is going on in 500 words or less, as keeping the writing clear and precise is still very important.

Tell us what you think is happening through a new character or previous characters, and what it all means or doesn’t mean at all.

We will post several submissions in the following weeks.

Remember, both new and previous writers are welcome. Don’t be shy! Don’t wait too long!
