What's Up in Bear Valley Springs?

July 6, 2019

Bear Valley Springs is a private gated community in which the residents pay an annual Association amenities fee. To participate in the below events, a non-member or non-resident must arrange with a friend or family member in the community for a guest pass that would permit them to engage in the activities. Guest passes will be checked.

Time to hit the pool! Do you have health issues that a therapeutic water aerobics class would help? Then the pool is the place for you. Classes are held five days a week, Monday thru Friday, from 10:20 to 11:40 a.m. You do need to be an amenity card holder to attend regularly, and the classes cost $30 per month or $3 per day.

Don’t forget that each Friday evening through July and August, Movies by the Lake takes place at Cub Lake park. These movies are all family-friendly and free. They start around dusk, but could be postponed due to weather. You can get a listing of upcoming movies through E-Buzz or at the Association office.

Walking on the golf course is hazardous to the health of you and your children. A golf ball could come out of nowhere at any time. Please, stay off the course and the concrete path next to the patio. None of us want tragedy to happen.

Tennis camps are coming up. July 15 begins a four-day camp for children 8 to 14 years old, with intermediate skills. July 29 for four days, camp will be held for skilled players and high school students. The cost will be $65 for BVSA members. A $10 discount per child will be offered for two or more from the same family. Non-member cost is $75. Camp runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon each day.
