Egg hunters pick out their Easter prizes.

The Easter Bunny found his way to Stallion Springs for the annual Easter Egg hunt. The event, sponsored by the Police Athletic League, was held in the field next to the Community Center. Over 100 kids took their baskets and charged across the field gathering the eggs as fast as they could to bring back all the eggs their baskets could hold. Every child received a gift for participating and other gifts were distributed from a drawing. PAL provided some of the gifts and would like to thank other community members for providing others.

Roundup

The annual garage clean out sale is set for May 4 at the Community Center from 7 a.m. to noon. All spots are $15. There are only 30 spots, so make your reservation early. For more information, contact Tonie at toekneeonly@gmail.com.

Scholarship fundraiser dinner

The POA Annual Scholarship fundraiser dinner, is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 beginning at 5 p.m. Tickets for the scholarship fundraiser are now on sale. Tickets are $25 each or $45 per couple, cash or check to SSPOA. Only 65 tickets are available for this event so let POA President Debbie Rodriguez know ASAP if you'd like any tickets. If you would like to donate cash toward the scholarships, we also appreciate that. We are also in need of gift basket donations that we will use for our silent auctions at the fundraiser. Lastly, we have a very important decision to make for the SSPOA. Please be on the lookout for an email from us regarding this decision and our future. I will be sending it out soon. Thank you for your membership and support.

The District staff and Board of Directors are attempting to feel the pulse of the community on various issues related to the POA. There have been a few meetings in regard to the phasing out the POA and forming a 501(c)(3) under the umbrella of the CSD. Please see the Bridge or contact the CSD or Debbie Rodriguez for more details.
