Have a Heart Humane Society invites you to help celebrate Give Big Kern! Give Big Kern is, “One day to celebrate the giving spirit of Kern County!”
It is designed to bring all of Kern together as one community, raising dollars and volunteer hours for local nonprofits through a 24-hour, crowd-funding campaign. The event takes place on Tuesday, May 7 in our Rescued Treasures shop/adoption center. We will have a “Gone to the Dogs” hot dog lunch. A donation to Give Big Kern will get you a free hot dog and soda. To top off the lunch we will have a bake sale of yummy goodies! In addition, Bonnie’s puppies (of Facebook fame) will be here to meet, greet and give away puppy kisses.
We will also have a “bag sale” in the thrift store portion of our rescue with 25 percent off all the clothing you can get in your shopping bag. Bags provided.
So come on down from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 and Give Big.
