The Tehachapi County Community Water District (TCCWD) conducted their annual district tour on April 18. Members of the community traveled by van down to the Edmundson power plant at the base of the Grapevine and then followed Tehachapi's water to two of the three power plants that pump the water up the mountain to Stallion Springs and then on to Brite Lake. TCCWD's water originates at Oroville Dam in Northern California and travels south through the Sacramento Delta and then to the Grapevine pumping plant by way of the California Aqueduct.
