Santa stopped for breakfast in Stallion Springs on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Community Center. He was met by a full house of children waiting to meet him and go over their Christmas lists. After a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee guests did some holiday shopping at the Craft Fair in the gym.

Police Advisory: Theft from unsecured vehicles in Stallion Springs

A theft from an unsecured vehicle has been reported. Remove the opportunity and deny access when your property is not in use. 

A simple solution to eliminate the theft from unsecured vehicles is to deny thieves the opportunity to steal from you by locking your car doors. 

If you are not doing so, please lock your car doors and remove valuables from your vehicles. Also, keep your garage closed, and your windows and doors locked when not in use and have a safe holiday season.

If you have a life threatening emergency call 911. The Stallion Springs Police Department is dispatched through the Kern County Sheriff's Office. For non-life threatening issues, please call (661) 861-3110. You may contact us by email or by using the contact information provided at http://www.stallionspringscsd.com. If you wish to make an appointment to speak with an officer contact the CSD at (661) 822-3268. Appointments maybe canceled at any time due to limited police staffing.

CERT

The CERT Basic Class will be offered in our community, spring of 2019. Please invite family, friends and neighbors to enroll in this training. 

The class schedule is: Wednesday, March 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. for Orientation, Saturday, March 16, 23 and 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Woodward West Gymnastics

Woodward West has scheduled 12 classes in gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline for Jan. 9 through March 27. Classes are for Cadets age 3-5, Deputies ages 6 and over (Beginners) and Sheriffs age 6 and over (Intermediates and Advanced). Pre-registration is required. There is no registration fee. The cost of the 12 classes is $200. Contact Woodward West for more information.

Stallion Springs Board of Directors

The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. in the CSD Board Room.
