The combined talent of the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of David Newby, and the beautiful voices of the Tehachapi Symphonic Chorus, led by Kathy Kelly, made for a rich performance.

On the evening of Dec. 14, Handel's Messiah was performed in the beautiful setting of Country Oaks Baptist Church with 700 audience members in attendance. The annual holiday concert was performed by Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra and the Tehachapi Symphonic Chorus.

All performances by the Tehachapi Orchestra are free of charge with donations always appreciated. The community supported orchestra is self funded through its pledges and yearly audience donations. Their next performance will be March 3, 2019 where they will present Beethoven: The Ruins of Athens, with guest pianist Jason Stoll performing.
