Nearly 100 entrants participated in this year's parade. The theme was "Christmas in Candyland."

Due to weather the annual Christmas Parade, presented by the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce, was delayed and held the evening of Sunday, Dec. 2. The brisk weather and date change didn't keep locals from coming out to enjoy the festive parade, which had nearly 100 entrants.

Following the parade, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting event was held at the Tehachapi Depot and Railroad Museum where Santa Claus visited and heard the Christmas wishes of the children.
