Enjoy the 18th Annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on Dec. 1.

The holidays are a time for families and friends to gather. On Saturday, Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m. The Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce is planning the 18th Annual Christmas Parade "Christmas in Candyland." The Parade route will be down F Street beginning at Mulberry Street in Tehachapi.

This event is planned so the community can gather together and visit old friends, make new friends, drink hot chocolate, watch the parade, share a meal, enjoy the lights, sing carols and stroll from business to business to do your Christmas shopping. This is an exciting holiday event filled with community spirit for all ages. Wouldn't a few snowflakes complete the magic? Stick around after the parade for the Tree Lighting at the Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum, 101 W. Tehachapi Blvd.

Last year's parade was such a success that you don't want to miss out on this year's event! In order to make the parade successful, it takes volunteers. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to be a part of the parade committee. Contact the Chamber office at (661) 822-4180 for more information. All volunteers are welcome.
