Ha's Apple Farm located at 20916 Steuber Road will be open throughout the holiday season with all the makings for great last minute gift giving. They have fresh apples almost year-round that mix well with their jams, jellies and dried fruit. LA Weekly has named Ha's Apple Farm preserves in their top five.
David Ha's delicious dried apples and other dried fruits are also a great gift inclusion, as well as a healthy snack to be served while watching a football game on TV. There are fruit rolls and fruit brittle, some even flavored with jalapeno. And how does pancakes served with Ha's delicious Apple Cinnamon Syrup sound?
If you plan to make hot apple cider for your holiday party, Ha's cider is fresh pressed and then frozen to keep in the fresh taste. Just thaw it out and it is ready to use, adding that fresh-pressed taste to your favorite holiday recipe. At Ha's a half gallon of frozen cider sells for $10 and a pint for $3, about half of the going prices found in Los Angeles.
Right now Ha's has a variety of fresh fruit including apples, pears, plums and grapes, so stop by and add fruit to your holiday recipes. Ha's is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
