Some of the nearly 50 runners and or walkers who participated in the Have a Heart Pet Festival event at Warrior Park on Sept. 8.
Tehachapi dogs, great and small, gathered for Have a Heart Humane Society's annual Gone to the Dogs 5K Fun Run and Pet Festival on Sept. 8.
The event included rescue dogs, pet-specific item vendors, a silent auction, games, food and drawings. The best part? Proceeds from the event go toward helping dogs and cats in Tehachapi find their forever homes.
