These friends are enjoying the Main Street's wine walk. They hope it becomes a yearly summer event.

Main Street Tehachapi presented the community with a delightful evening event on June 23. Main Street arranged three wine sampling stops around town. Each stop featured wines to taste and music to listen enjoy. At the Tehachapi Visitor Center guests were offered country music and a choice of a red, white or bubbly wine to sample. Tasters could then move over to Centennial Plaza to sample wine and listen to Swing/Big Band music. Closing out the evening many samplers went to Railroad Park where they enjoyed an assortment of wine and rock 'n' roll music as the sun set over Tehachapi. More than one sampler expressed interest in seeing this becoming a "yearly summer evening event."

Enjoying the wine and country music at the Visitor Center is the winner of the evening's raffle, Tami Harkleroad. Sponsored by Main Street business member Travel by Jenni, Tami will be enjoying a California Wine Tour excursion by Princess Cruises.
