Souza hosts candidate for District Attorney

On St. Patrick's Day, Bob and Patty Souza hosted a well- attended meet and greet at Souza Family Vineyard for Scott Spielman, who is running for Kern County District Attorney. Spielman went to school in Simi Valley with Patty's son Brian. The event was a reunion for both families.
Spielman has been with the County for 24 years and has been Assistant DA for the last 7 years. He has prosecuted over 100 felony trials, over half of which were major. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. As a Sergeant and an MP, he served at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Belgium among other assignments. He is married with three children.
