David Willer was proud of his wife, Marget, when she received a Distinguished Service Award from Kiwanis.

Marget Willer has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award by Kiwanis Division 33. The presentation was made at the Kiwanis Governor's Official Visit to Bakersfield. A dozen members of Tehachapi Kiwanis CLUB attended the dinner event at Hodel's Restaurant to honor her.

Willer was nominated for this honor because of her tireless dedication to less fortunate children and adults. She has been employed by the Salvation Army for twenty-five years. Recently they recognized her talent by promoting her to a position where she oversees Salvation Army headquarters in fifteen California counties. Before the promotion, which takes Willer out of town frequently, she served as a director, as well as president of the Tehachapi Kiwanis CLUB.

Marget was accompanied by her husband, David Willer. He and the entire Kiwanis group agreed that Marget was most deserving of this special recognition.
