Lots of practice makes for great fiddlers.
On March 10, Disctrict 3 of the California State Old Time Fiddlers Association held its ninth annual Amateur Old Time Fiddle Contest at the Tehachapi Valley United Methodist Church. Contestants 20 years of age and younger entered this free competition, some coming from as far as Hanford, Calif.
