The Tehachapi Wreaths Across America committee would like to thank everyone in the community who helped by purchasing wreaths to be placed on the headstones of veterans buried in Westside and Eastside cemeteries. Also, thank you to the many businesses who had our donation jars available for their customers.

We appreciate all of the organizations who participated in the ceremony on Dec. 16 and those that helped with the planning: Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion Post 221, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 221, Bear Valley Springs veterans Association, Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron 46, American Legion Riders Post 221, and members of the Cemetery District Board including Brooke Cantwell and Sally Perriman from Wood Family Funeral Services. Also, a thank you to our speaker, retired Merchant Marine Captain Ed Sullivan.

Thank you to all in the community who attended the event and helped with the placement of wreaths.
