The runners are off on the start of this year's Hot Chocolate Turkey Trot 5K Run. This is the first time it has been held at Brite Lake. The fastest three male and female runners received a fresh donated turkey for their Thanksgiving dinner. This year the fastest male runners (and turkey winners) were Justin Patnananan with 18:38 minutes, followed by Alexander Patnananan with 19:26, and Jarrod Tiede with 20:57. The fastest females were Tammy Gilbert with 24:43 minutes, followed by Ella Whitney with 25:25, and Christa Whitney with 25:58.
