2017 Winter Fun Guide

Nick Smirnoff (NPPA)

Ringers Michelle Roberts, daughter Melody, and fellow Church of the Nazarene member Vicky Harp ring the bell at Albertsons supermarket in Tehachapi.

The Christmas Kettle campaign is our largest fundraiser and helps provide for the programs that we run throughout the year. All the money collected in Tehachapi stays in Tehachapi. Bell ringing began on Nov. 18! If you want to help volunteer you can sign up at http://www.registertoring.com You can register as an individual or as a group with your church or organization! We will be bell ringing until Dec. 23.

The Salvation Army of Tehachapi provides emergency food and utilities for those who are qualified. We also administer the Senior Sack and Commodities programs for our community. We assist with other emergency needs if we are able. If you would like to help us please call (661) 823-9508. Thank you; by helping us you are helping your community.

Tehachapi residents that need assistance for the Holidays, go to the Salvation Army to sign up at 538 E. Tehachapi Blvd., between 9 and 11 a.m., Monday through Friday.
