Lancaster Museum of Art and History billboard project

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) launched the #ARTOUTDOORAV Billboard Project from Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 to Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. This is an exciting Fall Outdoor Art Exhibition that is made possible by MOAH teaming up with Lamar Advertising/Todd Porter and Lancaster Museum and Public Art foundation (LMPAF) to feature ten local artists on twenty billboards throughout Antelope Valley.

Tina Dille, a local artist of Tehachapi, is one of the ten artists chosen and her artwork is displayed on two billboards – one located on Sierra Hwy north of Avenue H and the other located on Avenue K west of Sierra Hwy. Dille known for her expressionistic animal portraits will be exhibiting approximately 10' x 22' billboard posters of "The Gift" a reproduction from a 26" x 40"original watercolor created this year.

"The Gift" depicts four ravens interacting among themselves. This symbolizes family and social connections something that ravens and humans value greatly. This art-outdoor venue in Antelope Valley, allows Dille's art and the nine other artists' artwork to be viewed while driving or at anytime. It's a great way to see art but will only be up until Nov. 12. Maps for all the twenty billboards can be obtained through MOAH's website or visit Tina Dille's facebook.

In solo exhibitions, Dille has shown her raven artwork at Lancaster Museum of Art and History in 2015, Bakersfield Museums of Art in 2017, and there will be an upcoming solo exhibition at Maturango Museum in Jan. 2018.
