Raise your glass and raise some cash at Cheers to Charity 2017

Enjoy great food, fine wine, craft and home brewed beer while you raise some cash for charity at Cheers to Charity 2017! Saturday, August 12 is the date for Tehachapi's fund-raising celebration under the stars. Cheers to Charity benefits local nonprofit organizations and features live music, delicious tapas, scrumptious wines and skillfully made craft and home brewed beers - beneath the canopy of a Tehachapi starry sky. Dancing music, choice cigars, a silent auction, coffee, desserts, a non-alcoholic drink bar and a sparkling end to the evening are also in the works.

2017 Proceeds will benefit Magdalene Hope, Tehachapi Parks Foundation, and Tehachapi Police Foundation. Tehachapi Economic Development Council, Tehachapi Mountain Search and Rescue, Tehachapi Rotary Foundation, Tehachapi VALLEY WRESTLING CLUB and Stallion Springs CERT will also benefit from the August event. Mini-grants will be available following the event.

"Businesses are stepping up to sponsor Cheers to Charity like never before. We have already surpassed last year's sponsor totals, which means we're off to a great start in being able to support our chosen non-profits in a big way", said Cheers to Charity committee member Marcia Thompson. "Each year, we add new non-profit recipients as we spread funding among a variety of local charitable organizations."
