Once a month the Tehachapi Treasure Trove hosts a painting party. Local artists provide instruction and the Trove provides snacks, drinks (soda, coffee and wine) and all the painting supplies needed to make a great painting, which is finished during the session. Stephen Headrick, one of the co-owners of the Trove started the paint night several months ago. Says Headrick, "It's a fun evening with lots of fun people." That statement can be attested by the fact the workshops are always full, sometimes with a waiting list.
The next one is Saturday, June 17 at 6pm. The theme is "South West Landscape" and the cost is $25. Call (661) 822-6794 to make a reservation.
