Fiddlers Crossing featuring The Kern River Band

On First Friday, Feb. 3. at 7 p.m. (doors open 6:30 p.m.), Fiddlers Crossing located at 206 East F Street will be featuring The Kern River Band, classic and vintage country and folk music. Free admission, tips for the performers strongly encouraged. Refreshments included.

First Fridays have become a popular event of fun, refreshments, hospitality and shopping at all the participating venues.

Gallery 'N' Gifts will be featuring local photographers. Gallery 'N' Gifts is located at 100 W. Tehachapi Blvd.

Tehachapi Treasure Trove is located at 116 East Tehachapi Boulevard, right across the street from the water tower in Railroad Park. Guests are invited to paint a letter for the large sign on the front of our building.

Come see what is happening and join the fun, food, wine, conversation, and music by Art Larsen on Clarinet.

Gallery 'N' Gifts - 12th Annual TVAA Photo Contest

2016 Best of Show winner Diana Palmer -- Tehachapi area photographers sure know how to throw down one heck of a competition! February's First Friday at Gallery 'N' Gifts will feature over 150 photos by dozens of local photographers who took up the challenge to see how their "best" stacked up against others in the 12th Annual TVAA Photo Contest. The public is invited to a special First Friday Reception to see where all the award ribbons landed after the toughest round of judging yet. Stop by Gallery 'N' Gifts between 5 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 3 for a delicious treat for your tummy and a fabulous feast for your eyes. Photos will be on display in the Fine Arts Gallery beginning Friday, Feb. 3 through Tuesday, Feb. 28. This year's event features original photos in the categories of Landscape & Nature, Travel & Architecture, Animals, Black & White, Details & Macros, People & Flowers. Youth photography has become a crowd favorite and the crowds always look forward to seeing photos through the eyes of Tehachapi's talented youth.

Located 102 W. Tehachapi Blvd. (across from The Depot) broad variety of items, refreshments and music. Open until 8 p.m.

Back Street Gallery, 106 W. Tehachapi Blvd. hosts live music and refreshments.

Tehachapi Museum & Errea House on South Green St. Treasures from our local mountains and around the world will be featured on First Friday. Stop by for refreshments.

Fiddlers Crossing, 206 East F St., First Friday Showcase at 7 p.m. featuring The Kern River Band. Admission is free and tips for the performer are strongly encouraged.

Sheridan's Boutique Home Consignment at 108 W. Tehachapi Blvd. Due to unpredictable winter weather, Sheridan's will not be open for First Friday in February and March. We look forward to seeing you again at First Friday starting in April.

Tehachapi Christian Store at 108 E. Tehachapi Blvd. is under new ownership and will be open on First Friday Feb. 3. Duo Matt and Katy will entertain and hot chocolate will be served.
