Pouring "Alamos Malbec" a full bodied red wine at last years 9th Annual Valentines Wine Walk.
Come on out and join your friends and neighbors for the 10th annual Main Street Tehachapi Valentines Wine Walk. This fun event will be held in Downtown Tehachapi on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 6 to 9 p.m., rain or shine. A selection of delicious wines, including offerings from our local vineyards, will be specially paired with homemade chocolates provided by Linda's Cakes and Things. Local business owners will be your hosts, as they open up their doors to welcome you. Appetizers will also be provided by the host businesses.
Tickets are $30 each in advance, or $35 on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.MainStreetTehachapi.org, or by cash or check at the following locations: Tehachapi Visitor Center, Sheridan's Boutique Home Consignment, Get Dressed Boutique, Dressing Room, Dahlia's, Tehachapi Flower Shop, and the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce. The chamber office can also accept credit cards. On the day of the event, only cash or checks can be accepted.
Main Street Tehachapi is a non-profit volunteer organization, organized in 1999, as part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Main Street Tehachapi continues to work towards the revitalization of our Historic Downtown. Past projects in which Main Street has played a key role include the downtown murals, restoration of the water tower in Railroad Park, and grants to local businesses for façade improvements. Main Street also sponsors the summer Farmers Market and the annual Halloween Trunk or Treat.
Ticket sales from the Downtown Wine Walks, along with support from local sponsors, are a major source of revenue for Main Street Tehachapi. We would like to express our special appreciation to Big Papas Restaurant, who helps provide the souvenir tasting glasses for these events.
