Movin' On plays Mountain Festival in Central Park

One of the first things we are always asked at a gig is, "Where are you guys from?" When we answer "Tehachapi!" people are surprised. Obviously, they are unaware of the deep pool of artistic talent found here in our mountain home, and "Movin' On" is proud to be a part of Tehachapi's rich musical tapestry.
Our band members all met here in Tehachapi having played with other bands prior to becoming members of "Movin' On". When we started out our emphasis was on covering classic rock and country tunes along with some standards. For the past six years we have added blues, soul and some jazz tunes to our repertoire. It has been an interesting journey finding who we are musically, adapting and growing with each new member, and above all, trying to please our listeners. We have been fortunate to play at many local venues and events, including Mountain Festival, Cheers 2 Charity, Bear Valley Country Club, BVAA Harvest Moon Dance, Souza Family Vineyards, and more...
Our band "family" members are: Dave Crowe, a former Bakersfield boy, on bass and vocals; Gary Levin, once a San Fernando "Valley Boy", on guitar and vocals; Kathleen Gair, a rancher's daughter from the San Gabriel Valley, on keyboard and vocals; Paul Hughes, the down home Tennessippian", on guitar and vocals; and our newest member who floated down the Ohio river to California, Greg Hahn on drums and vocals.
