Tehachapi Valley Arts Association (TVAA) and Gallery 'N' Gifts announces their annual "Take Your Best Shot" Summer photo contest.
Each year new, anonymous judges look for that one special photo which stands out above the rest to take home a $100 cash prize for Best of Show honors.
Each category's first place ribbon winner takes home a $25 cash prize. Second, third and honorable mention prizes receive ribbons. The contest is open to all amateur photographers with a special category for photographers 18 and under.
Submissions will be accepted July 25- August 1, 2016 and a special First Friday awards reception will be held on August 5 at Gallery 'N' Gifts from 5 to 8 p.m. For a full list of categories and rules stop by Gallery 'N' Gifts or visit http://www.galleryngifts.com and click on the photo contest link.
