Lions Club of Tehachapi

The Tehachapi Lions Club was pleased to honor three local students for their achievements at their May 5 meeting.

Tehachapi High School's student was Karson Gilbert. Karson likes to participate in extracurricular activities. He is the ASB secretary and he is involved in the boys volleyball club program. Karson is a friendly individual with a pleasing personality and he works hard to make the events at the high school go off like clockwork.

Elizabeth Partridge was chosen by the teachers at Jacobsen Middle School. Elizabeth plays an active role with her school work and is up to the task when it comes to getting involved in class activities. She is also eager to help others who may not understand academic concepts as well as she does.

Brianda Garcia, a senior at Monroe High School, was chosen by the staff due to her diligence with her studies. She exhibits a positive attitude and is a respectful student each and every day she attends school. Brianda was unable to attend due to a work conflict.

The Tehachapi Lions Club would like to congratulate these wonderful students and their families and wish them well on their future endeavors.
