Start your holiday season with music and mirth provided by the annual Holiday Pops Concert “Christmas in the Valley” at the Whiting Center in Bear Valley Springs. Mark your calendar for Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m The concert will include popular orchestral music and special songs featuring some of Tehachapi’s finest voices; Debbie Martin, Michelle and Chris Fulton, and there will be old favorites so the rest of us can sing-along. The music is performed by members of the Tehachapi community, ages 8 through 80, and conducted by the popular band teacher, Daniel Musquez.
All children will be greeted by Santa Claus, and are welcomed free of charge. Parents, neighbors, friends and adults will be asked to donate $5.00 to the event’s sponsor, Bear Valley Springs Cultural Arts Association. Hot beverages and cookies round out the afternoon.
