Tehachapi Orchestra Holiday Concert

The Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra and Tehachapi Symphonic Chorus will perform this year's holiday concert on Friday, December 18, 2015 beginning at 7 p.m. at Country Oaks Baptist Church, located at 20915 Schout Rd., Tehachapi. Admission is free.
The Tehachapi Symphony, under the baton of Dr. David Newby, will perform music from Handel's The Messiah. The Tehachapi Symphonic Chorus, under the direction of Kathy Kelly will join in with selections from The Messiah and Movements I, IV, and VII from Bach's Cantata BWV 140 ("Sleepers Awake"), with selected soloists.
A reception follows the concert so that the public is able to meet the soloists and members of the symphony and chorus.
There is no suggested donation nor is there a charge, but donations are accepted.
