We toast the new bride and groom;
We cheer for the underdog…and cheer louder when they win!
Cheers to Charity is asking local artists to create artwork illustrating the exuberance of such celebrations! Because our event is all about “Cheering on some of our favorite Charities”, we invite artists to capture the celebration; to illustrate the toast; to photograph the moments; to reflect the celebration of life … in your medium of choice.
Our annual Cheers to Charity Food, Craft Beer and Wine event, to be held on Saturday, August 8th, will showcase the entries. Your artistic submissions of vineyards or toasting glasses; beer steins or laughter; high spirits or great music & dancing … will be the perfect focal point to an evening of charity.
Winners will be selected by Cheers to Charity “Jurors”. The Grand Prize winner will be unveiled at the event, and the winner will receive a Day Spa and Culinary Package, valued at $300.
Should you wish to donate your artwork to the event, we would be honored to include it in our silent auction. It will help raise more funds for valuable charities. We are a 501c3 nonprofit agency thus your donation may be tax deductible.

Eligibility: Artists, in all media, are invited to apply for inclusion at the Cheers to Charity fund-raising event. The competition is open to all artists 18 years and older. You must, however, hand-deliver and pick up your work. We will not be responsible for shipping the work.
Create a work of art which encompasses the celebratory spirit found in the Cheers to Charity event, whatever that means to you. Images could include: wine, beer, food, gatherings, toasts, vineyards, fields of grain, brewing, grilling, or simply groups of people enjoying life!
Paintings/photographs should be no larger than 28” on any side (framed) and sculptures with a base no bigger than 16” by 16”, with a height no taller than 24”. All artwork should be clearly labeled on the back side or bottom of the piece of work.
All artwork must be delivered to Veritas Wine and Tapas Bar on Thursday, July 23rd, 2015 between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. It would be a blessing, if you chose to donate your artwork to the event, but if you choose not to, artwork must be picked up on Sunday, August 9th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
