Battle of the Bands in Tehachapi

 

Jam to local and area musicians while enjoying one of Tehachapi's greatest summer events, food, beer and wine. The 1st annual Tehachapi Valley Recreation & Park District's "Battle of the Bands" is on Saturday, June 27. Concerts are FREE to the public and the coolest way to enjoy Tehachapi's fabulous summer evenings! Competing for part of the $500 prize will be: MUDFISH (local Rock and Blues band); BLUE STEEL (classic rock and country); and RED SOIL (alternative rock band). We got the "A-Team" of entertainment with Tehachapi local M.C. Patrick Donahue and sound engineer Jim Ash of Big Bear Lake Convention Center.

This is a great way to kick off Summer and enjoy some excellent entertainment.

The concert begins at 3 p.m. but come early to picnic, and bring your own chairs and blankets. Umbrellas and pop-up tents are allowed before and after the concer, but once the concert begins, you will be required to take them down. Your cooperation to keep our parks clean and safe is appreciated.

Not permitted: Dogs, barbecues, or wheeled vehicles.

Location: Philip Marx Central Park, Mojave and East E St, downtown Tehachapi.
