Field of Dreams closes

After 10 years in Tehachapi, Field of Dreams Alpacas are closing our doors. Due to the rising costs it is no longer financially possible to maintain proper care of the alpacas. It has been a privilege for our family to be custodians and caregivers to these magnificent creatures. The gifts they have given to us cannot be measured. We want to thank Tehachapi for supporting us and we will miss being a part of the community in this capacity.

We also wish to thank all who have stumbled upon us and shared the joy and peace these beautiful animals have brought us. Everyone who has visited and experienced what we love so much has been a part of creating our family story. All of our beloved alpacas are being placed with caring homes. Our love and support of the alpaca community here in Tehachapi will continue.

We will still be very involved with the fiber and our unending support for the other ranches in Tehachapi, such as Adorable Alpacas (owner Claudia will still be going strong).

We came to Tehachapi to pursue our alpaca dream. We achieved it, and now we are excited to see what the next chapter will bring. We hope to see all of you around town in the near future.

You will still be able to see me at Thrive Nutrition and Wellness on the corner of Mission St and Valley Blvd in Tehachapi. Please stop by to say, “Hi.”
