Following Cory Lockwood

I met Cory Lockwood while he was training for the Granfondo. He ultimately won that event and is the hero of Tehachapi. We asked him if he would let us know what else he is up to so we could follow his progress.

Cory said, “So, the latest news from my bike racing: I’ve been placed on the Kern Wheelmen’s local team for the RAAM race. It’s a Race Across America, 3,000 miles, and 24 hours a day. We are going to go for a new transcontinental record, and will try to win at the same time. This is a very big event. You could say world level, lots of United States teams, and teams from other countries will be participating.

We have a fast team and a good chance of winning. We aim to set a new 4-man record and win the event.” (The RAAM race is taking place mid June 2015.)
