Linda Clough and Stacey Christy (AKA “Team Linda & Stacey”) are very proud of their accomplishments for the year 2014. One of the biggest changes have been to market of themselves as a team. It is well known that Linda and Stacey are mother and daughter, but for many who don’t know, they have been working together for the last 12 years.
Linda started in real estate in September of 1990, becoming a broker in 2002.
When Stacey got into the real estate business, Linda sold while Stacey worked behind the scenes, keeping up with the paperwork and being the office manager at Town & Country Real Estate. As well as being Linda’s assistant, right arm, and left arm, and working hard to keep their work in order.
Stacey became a licensed realtor in 2005 and jumped right into the business she grew up around.
It made sense to change their work name to “Team Linda & Stacey”.
Many that know Linda’s motto, “She works, and works, and works” may not know that it was Stacey who came up with that motto when she was 6 years old. Out of the mouths of babes.
The Tehachapi community has recognized Linda as a Top Producer for many years, and Stacey has followed in her footsteps becoming quite a producer, too, so together the community gets, “All that and more!” from this dedicated team.
Linda has been the President of our Tehachapi Area Association of Realtors three times. Stacey has been a Director on our Tehachapi Area Association of Realtors many times, and a Chairperson as well, and the “Realtor of the Year” for 2009. Linda can finally say, “Like daughter, like mother,” as Linda was named “Realtor of the Year” for 2014.
Being a realtor, a good realtor, means dedicating your life to giving exceptional service and being involved in your community. Linda has lived in the community for 34 years. For 24 of those years she has been a realtor/broker, brought up her family and has been very involved in the community.
Stacey was born in Tehachapi, and has a lovely family with three very active children. Being a mother of 3 children you will always see Stacey not only involving herself realtor-wise, but she is on the Little League Board; involved with Tehachapi Youth Football; is a T-Ball coach; a team mom of her son’s team and her girl’s softball (recently); as well as involved with daycare activites and whatever other direction her children may take her.
Happily married to De Wayne Clough and Joshua Christy, respectively, Linda and Stacey continually thank their husbands for their continued support, because without it would be hard to work so many hours.
“Team Linda & Stacey” are humbly grateful to their clients this past year and in years past, and feel blessed to live in this wonderful community. Their clients genuinely add the “family” touch to every transaction they do.
