What's Up in Stallion Springs?

The Stallion Springs Neighborhood Watch held its monthly meeting on November 12 with a packed house. Police Chief Mike Grant gave a presentation on social media and its effects on our lives.

Grant noted that all information you place is stored on the company’s server and is accessible for years even after you delete it. The majority of employers are asking for your passwords and use social media to research candidates. The same hold true for colleges. Postings of inappropriate photos, drinking, drugs, bad mouthing previous employers can affect your future. Think before you post anything.

The Houchin Blood Drive held on November 8 was a success with 30 donations. Houchin will be returning on January 3, 2015. You can sign up to donate at the Stallion Springs CSD office.

Neighborhood Watch will not hold a meeting in December. The next meeting is scheduled for 6.p.m. January 14, 2015 at the CSD building.
