Kindergarten through Eighth grade students completed their very own still life masterpieces, using all of the techniques they learned! We were so impressed with their creations!
The Art Studio in Tehachapi California is excited to announce "Wine and Merlot", an evening of art, wine and fun socializing on June 22, 2014, 4 till 6 p.m.!
This new and ongoing event will include an art lesson, all the supplies needed to create your very own beautiful painting, wine and snacks.
A huge congratulations to Ella Whitney for winning an artist spot in the June 2014 issue for Highlights magazine! We are so proud and inspired by her artistic abilities!
This Wine and Merlot event will be held at the beautiful Veritas Tapas and Wine Bar located at 695 Tucker Rd., Suite C, Tehachapi, CA. Price is $60 per person. A raffle will be held as well for an artful gift!
Valley Oaks Charter High School students applied all of the artistic techniques they learned as well towards their skateboard designs. Just as a reminder, the Skateboard Design contest is open to all artist in the following four categories: Kindergarten - Second, Third - Fifth, Sixth - Eighth and High school through adult. Winners will be announced on Saturday, June 14, 2014! The deadline for turning in skateboards was Friday May 30, 2014.
