Your body only lasts a lifetime, but most people take better care of their car than their body.

By taking better care of yourself, you can extend how long that lifetime is. Just like taking care of a car, taking care of yourself requires a a bit of time.

Just giving yourself the gift of exercise for just an hour a day, can greatly reduce the risks of heart attack, stroke and early death.

Consistent exercise keeps your muscles/joints strong and flexible, and – of course – releases endorphins into your system, which naturally elevate your mood and outlook. It's hard to be depressed when you feel good!

Daily aerobic exercise is the greatest weapon we have against heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity and depression; it also strengthens your heart and lung function.

Look for an activity you can enjoy doing day in and day out.

Take a walk, ride your bike or join an exercise class (Jazzercise comes to mind...).

Get up, get moving and get living!
