Stallion Springs Library

Did you know that the best kept secret in town is the Stallion Springs Library. It was created over 20 years ago, by a very enterprising women and consisted of an alcove in the general meeting room of then exiting offices the Stallion Springs Community Services District. The building is over 100 years, and was the ranch house of the Hill family who owned the area for raising cattle. The library is on the Stallion Springs Drive just before the covered bridge and there is a large sign visible as you drive by.

Over the years this resident and a very talented and creative carpenter and his wife finished the book shelves to cover the walls of the meeting room and beyond. The library now houses thousands of first rate novels, classics, biographies, self-help books, histories, crafts, teacher’s manuals, and children’s books. It is open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday’s 10 a.m. to noon. Books are available on an honor system. The Library is staffed with volunteers, should anyone want to volunteer please call Sara at 661-822-8859. Welcome and Enjoy!!
