As if by special order, the afternoon of May 7 turned out to be the perfect day for the start of Farmers Market in Tehachapi. The sky was crystal clear with temperatures in the upper 70s tempered by a light breeze. Shoppers showed up, wearing their face masks and mostly keeping social distance while choosing colorful fruits and vegetables to take home.
