What's Up in Stallion Springs?

CSD Staff begins training on the new Road Striper.

It's fog season in Stallion Springs and it can be difficult to see the road through the haze. Due to difficulties in getting the roads striped by a contractor, the CSD recently purchased a striping machine. Following the yellow strips can be a great aid to finding your way home in the heavy fog. The machine has been delivered and the maintenance crew is going through training on its use. Striping will get started once the crew is trained and the weather permits. Some streets may wait until later in the spring as they are scheduled for resurfacing and striping will be done when that is completed.

Police Report

We are working to solve the recent thefts from cars in Stallion Springs but we need the community's help to accomplish this. Please lock your car doors at all times when your car is not in use. This limits the opportunity for this crime to take place. Also, please keep valuables out of sight. Better yet, take them out of your car and bring them inside. Remember, "Out of sight, out of mind."

Please close and lock your garage doors at night. This deters crime and keeps the critters out as well.

Please report any suspicious activity that is in progress to the SSPD by contacting KCSO dispatch at (661) 861-3110. Remember to tell the dispatcher that you are in Stallion Springs and requesting a Stallion Springs officer.
