Tehachapi Natural Market opens in Old Town

Teresa Dunlop has worked in health food service for almost twenty years. She completed a series of courses in Holistic Health at Ventura College. It is a life-long passion of hers to bring healthy choices to customers. She moved to Tehachapi in 2011 and "fell in love" with the natural beauty and wonderful people. She soon saw a need for Tehachapi Natural Market. While the major chains may have products they lacked the personal expertise and customer attention that a local health food store offers. She wanted to share alternative choices for nutrition, supplements, health products, and personal and beauty care. She just opened her market this month.
Teresa's favorite part is listening to customers and discussing their needs while offering her own unique suggestions. She will complete special orders if a customer's requested product is not on the shelf. She loves creating and preparing (and drinking) delicious fresh organic juices and smoothies for juice bar customers. She is working to expand the market to include bulk products, produce, dairy and refrigerated products. She says, "Tehachapi Natural Market is committed to improving the health and happiness of our community."
Tehachapi Natural Market is located at 20221 Valley Blvd. (near Santa Lucia St.) and is open Mon.-Sat. from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
