What's Up in Stallion Springs?

 

Cooks at the Chili Cook Off.

Michael Shaub took home the title of Grand Prize Winner at the Property Owners Association Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Nov. 18. Shaub received a $50 prize for the win which he donated back to the POA.

Eleven teams competed in the competition. Shaub's team placed first in both the People's Choice and Cook's Choice categories for their fchili. The Judges' Choice category was won by Team 6 lead by Lindsay Rizzo.

Assistant General Manager

The Board of Directors approved the addition of an Assistant General Manager position to the administrative staff of the District. The Assistant will work under the direction of the General Manager providing support and assistance to the G.M. in managing and directing the daily activities of the CSD. Board of Directors opening

The Stallion Springs Board of Directors has a vacancy to replace a Board Member that has resigned. The remaining Directors of the District intend to fill the vacancy by appointment at the Board's regular meeting held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2018. Persons residing within the District and otherwise qualified to serve as a Director may obtain an application and submit their name and resume to the District by 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 9 at the District office. Police Report

In the month of October the Stallion Springs Police Department logged six arrests and issued 10 citations. There were 122 calls for service, 86 reports, 15 want and warrant checks, 121 officer initiated investigations, six field interviews, three impounds, and two medical assists.

The Community Service Unit conducted six vacation house checks, and one bus stop check.

Officer D. Marvin received two separate citizen commendations for his friendliness and professionalism and helpfulness during contacts.

Stallion Springs Board of Directors

The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 6 p.m. in the CSD Board Room.
