Crust: 5 cup flour, 3 tsp salt, 1 egg, 1 cup water, and 2 cups Crisco (from can not oil).

Mix all dry ingredients together, add egg and water mixture to dry ingredients, knead well all ingredients, cut into 5 cubes, each cube is a crust. Makes 5 crusts.

Filling: 8 to 10 Fuji apples, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 2 cups brown sugar, 4 tablespoons butter, and squirt bottle of Caramel sauce

Mix apples, cinnamon and brown sugar together. Put this mixture into bottom crust. On top of filling dab with the butter, and squirt in circles the caramel sauce, apply top crust and bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 and continue to bake for an additional 45 to 50 minutes.

Kelli said the pie crust is a secret family recipe, and this is her first time entering it in a contest.
