New Manager at Pioneer True Value Home Center

Aleshia with her daughter Emma.

Congratulations to Aleshia Ripoli-Culpepper. She was promoted to Manager of Pioneer True Value Home Center in Old Town this month. Aleshia grew up in Tehachapi and attended Tehachapi High School. She worked as a veterinarian's assistant before moving to Florida where she was manager of a Dollar Tree for five years. In 2006 she joined the Pioneer True Value family as a cashier and later became Assistant Manager. She worked closely with Don Zanghi who was Tehachapi's source of home repair and improvement information for contractors as well as homeowners for over 30 years. Aleshia's father also taught her about the construction trade so her knowledge is extensive. She is in tune with what customers need. Aleshia set up the True Value Ship to Store program to increase the number of items available for purchase. Customers can place an order on truevalue.net and pick up the item from the store with no freight charge. Customers like it for the variety of items offered and the fact the shipment is kept safely at the store until they pick it up.

Aleshia has lots of plans regarding new items and services to be brought to the store. (Mike Zanghi will complete his professional shear and knife sharpening training on the 14th of this month.) She is expanding services beyond the current key duplicating, rekeying, paint matching, new window screens and rescreening, chain saw chain manufacture and sharpening, etc. Aleshia will be expanding the plumbing offerings and enlarge the craft paints area. She recently brought in a full offering of Traeger pellets and spices. There is something new in every week. She is also doing some remodeling at the same time. She has a full agenda but with the help of our long-time staff--Mike, Kimi, Roxanne, Tony, and Randy--it should be done soon.

Check our monthly ad in the Loop and our Facebook page for Manager's Specials. Come in and see what's new and if there is something you think we should offer, let us know.
