Mikayla and Teddy receive their harness

On April 8 a fundraiser was held at Canine Creek Pet Wash and Boutique in Tehachapi in honor of local Mikayla Hart and her service dog Teddy. They were in need of a harness for Teddy to help keep Mikayla stable when she walks. Mikayla, who has had half of her brain removed, has no peripheral vision.
A message from the staff at Canine Creek Pet Wash and Boutique, Kellie, Brandy, Sam, Terra and Shilo: "We wanted to let everyone know that Mikayla and Teddy have officially received their harness! Thank you again to everyone that donated raffle prizes and bought tickets. This is an amazingly generous town! You are all awesome!"
