The Muse by Tina Dille

Her favorite animal muse by far, was Penut, a young raven that lived on her property a few years back. This mischievous bird ignited Dille's curiosity about ravens that led to compelling research that still fuels Dille's work even today. Dille explains, "Ravens are one of the smartest creatures on our planet earth! And after observing a raven's intelligence first hand and up close as with Penut, I too feel the need to paint this Mysterious Muse and completely understand their prevalence in art and literature."

Dille has shown her work extensively in California and is an award winning artist. She currently has a solo exhibition at The Modern Tea Room in Lancaster, Calif., from March 30, to June 2 2017, and locally her work can be viewed at Gallery n Gifts, Tehachapi, Calif. She has an upcoming solo exhibition in Jan. 2018 at Maturango Museum in Ridgecrest, Calif.
